Alkborough - Julian's Bower, Alkborough, South Humberside, England (O.S. Ref. SE 880218); turf paths, circular, 44 x 44 ft; eleven-ring Medieval Christian design, built certainly before 1671

Breamore - Miz-Maze, Breamore Down, Breamore, Hampshire, England (O.S. Ref. SU 142203); eleven-ring Medieval Christian design; turf maze, circular, 87 x 87 ft

Dalby - "City of Troy", Dalby, North Yorkshire, England (O.S. Ref. SE 626719), near village of Brandsby; turf path, circular, 26 x 22 ft; seven-ring Classical design; beside road, enclosed by low white fencing.

Hilton - Hilton Maze, The Common, Hilton, Cambridgeshire, England; (O.S. Ref. TL 293663); originally eleven-ring Medieval Christian design, now with only nine rings of paths; turf path, circular, 55 x 55 ft; central stone pillar dated 1729 states that the maze was formed (or re-cut?) in 1660.

Saffron Walden Turf Maze, The Common, Saffron Walden, Essex (O.S. Ref. TL 543385); seventeen rings, Medieval Christian design; brick paths in turf, circular with bastions, 132 x 132 ft.

Somerton - "Troy Town", Troy Farm, Somerton, Oxfordshire, England; ancient turf maze; 15 ring classsical labyrinth design; 57 x 50 ft; known to have existed c.1780 (when Troy Farm was rebuilt); in a private garden.

Winchester - Miz-Maze, St Catherine's Hill, near Winchester, Hampshire, England (O.S. Ref. SU 484278) (or SN 327079??); based on Medieval Christian design, poorly recut, with path as gulley and turf as barrier; turf maze, square, 96 x 96 ft ?Turner family, and date ? 1882?

Wing - Wing Maze, The Common, Wing, Leicestershire, England (O.S. Ref. SK 895028); turf paths, circular, 50 x 50 ft; Medieval Christian design.
